Specialty Restaurants in Burbank, CA seeks a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance and presentation of a restaurant and event venue. You will ensure facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational, with a focus on keeping kitchen equipment compliant and reliable.

The role requires coordinating with chefs, event staff and contractors, developing preventative maintenance programs, and managing maintenance budgets while supporting a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of restaurant, event spaces, kitchens, bars, outdoor areas and surrounding property.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Manage inspection, servicing and repair of all commercial kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Liaise with specialist contractors for refrigeration, gas, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and building maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and arrange timely repairs to reduce disruption.
• Maintain service records, logs, warranties and manuals for kitchen assets.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or capital replacements when needed.
• Ensure kitchen equipment compliance with health, safety, and manufacturer requirements.
• Oversee grease traps, ventilation, exhaust cleaning and related schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, cleaners, landscapers and maintenance providers.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify issues before they impact operations.
• Support event operations by ensuring venues are prepared for events including lighting and AV.
