Job summary

The Salvation Army Colorado Springs Corps seeks a Facilities Manager responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, functionality, and appearance of our properties, vehicles, and grounds. You will oversee maintenance staff, volunteers, contractors, and vendors to ensure facilities are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.

With duties spanning inspections, preventive plans, janitorial coordination, fleet upkeep, and budget support, you will report to Corps Officers and the Operations Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related facilities maintenance, property management, construction, or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel, contractors, and volunteers.
• Experience managing facility improvement or capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Property and Facility Management: inspect properties, develop preventive maintenance plans, ensure safe and operational facilities.
• Supervision and Leadership: supervise maintenance staff and volunteers, monitor quality and timeliness of work.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: obtain quotes, supervise contractors, ensure quality and timelines.
• Fleet Management: oversee maintenance and records of Corps vehicles, schedule preventative maintenance.
• Budget and Committee Support: assist in budgeting for facilities, monitor expenditures, support Advisory Board Property Committee.
