Job summary

WES HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all facilities and assets. The role focuses on leadership, hands-on problem solving, vendor management, and proactive facility improvements.

Strong knowledge of building systems and CMMS is required. Hybrid or on-site collaboration with multiple teams to sustain uptime and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field.
• At least 4 years of facilities management, maintenance, or operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety).
• Experience with CMMS (eMaint, FM:Systems, SAP PM, IBM Maximo) and common office software.
• Budgeting, contract, and vendor management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facilities operations across buildings and sites.
• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead facilities team and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Monitor facility budgets and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, fire safety, and environmental health practices.
• Oversee space planning and asset management.
• Administer vendor contracts and negotiate service levels.
• Enforce security protocols and incident response plans.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills.
• Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain records and provide reporting on KPIs and budgets.
