Job summary

Freeman Health System in the United States seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to supervise facilities teams across multiple sites. The role oversees repairs and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment and parking areas, ensuring Life Safety compliance and NFPA standards.

You will manage budgets, issue proposals, and supervise vendors, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting emergency response.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Experience in maintenance and facilities operations.
• Experience in supervising staff.
• Willingness to travel between work sites.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise staff maintaining facilities under the Director of Facilities Management at the NWA operations.
• Coordinate repair and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and parking lots.
• Manage life safety and NFPA compliance inspections and documentation.
• Oversee budgeting, cost proposals, POs, and vendor supervision for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records including Life Safety, PM, work orders, permits and certifications.
• Provide technical input to troubleshoot system failures and optimize performance.
• Support snow removal and winter weather response planning.
