Job summary

California Water Service Group (Cal Water) is seeking a Facilities Manager to support CSS facilities operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. Based in San Jose, CA, the role drives large office projects, including relocations, renovations, and energy-saving initiatives.

You will oversee budgets, partner with Legal on leases, and mentor districts' facilities teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and sustainable work environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in facilities management, large-scale project management, and leasing.
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large facility-related projects including relocations, space planning, renovations, and upgrades.
• Direct facility operations across CSS including maintenance, landscaping, HVAC, life safety and security.
• Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and service providers to meet standards and budgets.
• Develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets for facilities; support strategic plans.
