Job summary

Medford Water Commission is seeking a skilled Facilities Project Manager to oversee buildings, grounds and related systems. You will coordinate contractors, develop maintenance schedules, and manage budgets for the Operation Center, Duff Water Treatment Plant, Big Butte Springs, and reservoirs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED with a technical certificate required.
• 5+ years facilities management experience and building/grounds focus.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Licenses in LME, Building Operation, Oregon Journey HVAC/R, or BAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning activities with construction contractor.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for facilities operations.
• Analyze and recommend capital improvement projects for repair and maintenance of facilities.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Oversee operations, maintenance and repair of building controls and systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire suppression, security, irrigation.
• Establish contracts with contractors/vendors for maintenance, repair or capital projects.
• Manage facilities work order system and coordinate scheduling with staff.
• Acquire permits for projects; purchase supplies and reconcile invoices.
• Monitor and assist budget related to facilities, grounds, equipment.
