Job summary

You will lead day-to-day facilities operations, partner with site leadership, manage maintenance and budget, and coordinate with EHS to ensure regulatory compliance. This role demands multitasking, strong organizational skills, and clear communication to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related aerospace/defense manufacturing facilities experience.
• Associates degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience managing EHS in a facility.
• Independent worker with attention to detail and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan day-to-day facilities operations across production and R&D spaces to keep environments safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Partner with site leadership for Production, Engineering, Research and Development, and EHS to support site expansion and growth.
• Oversee maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, and other general utility repairs.
• Develop scopes of work for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects as the campus evolves.
• Collaborate with equipment owners on future equipment moves and planning that is efficient for production spaces.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with maintenance service providers.
• Manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, collaborating with EHS for regulatory adherence.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Execute on special projects to support the Head of Advanced Infrared Solutions.
• Implement existing regulatory programs to ensure site contractual compliance.
