Job summary

Campus Apartments is seeking an Experienced Facilities Manager to maintain the physical and mechanical upkeep of our property. Reports to the General Manager and will oversee the maintenance team, coordinate capital projects, and ensure safety and tenant satisfaction.

Strong supervisory and budget skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold HVAC and electrical certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to reliable, courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification preferred.
• HVAC and electrical certifications highly desirable for on-site operations.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain painting and cleaning of property; ensure upkeep of interior and exterior.
• Oversee mechanical work, code compliance, and in-house capital projects.
• Schedule projects, obtain bids, and approve contractor work.
• Repair appliances and boiler machinery; complete monthly inspection reports.
• Snow removal, pool maintenance (where applicable), and supplies management.
• Manage tenant relations and supervise night/weekend maintenance staff.
• Ensure timely, professional work orders; hire/terminate staff with GM input.
• Coordinate payroll for maintenance staff; assist with scheduling and budgeting.
