Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Manager Facilities to oversee safety management and the Environment of Care program across the hospital. You will ensure hazard-free facilities for patients, visitors, and staff, coordinating with Joint Commission standards and external regulators.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with facility operations, and expertise in NFPA Life Safety Code compliance across healthcare occupancies. On-call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and analyze complex technical documents, blueprints, contracts, energy reports and charts of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development, implementation and monitoring of safety management.
• Coordinates Environment of Care program per Joint Commission standards.
• Maintains liaison with regulatory agencies and develops compliant policies.
• Manages data collection and evaluation to identify unsafe conditions and mitigates them.
