Job summary

Paikka in Minnesota is seeking Facilities Support staff to help care for and clean the venue between events. This part-time seasonal role requires weekend availability and comfortable physical work. You will clean floors and surfaces, strike and set up furniture, install cafe lighting, perform plant care, and handle small maintenance tasks.

Training begins mid-October with a November start date. Expect to work weekends, assist with event setup, and be paid at an hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Timely and reliable with strong time management.
• Able to climb ladders when needed.
• Basic handy-person skills for small repairs.
• Able to lift 50–60 lbs repeatedly.
• Detail-oriented and careful in task execution.
• Familiar with Google Workspace tools.
• Plant knowledge is a plus.

Conditions

This is a part time seasonal position. Applicants must have ample weekend availability, especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Cleanings and event set ups are paid at a set rate. For hourly work (plant care, window washing, misc. projects), there is an hourly rate.
