Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant for the 1st shift in Poynette, Wisconsin. The role supports day-to-day facilities operations, including coordinating services, monitoring supplies, and maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Location is Poynette, WI, with a M-F shift from 6am–2pm or 7am–3pm. The position involves cleaning, kitchen area maintenance, event setup support, and adherence to sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Willingness to use hand tools (screw driver, drill).
• Ability to communicate via Outlook (email) or phone between buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal, and overall upkeep.
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets, deliming, and grout cleaning as needed.
• Support general groundskeeping and assist with office moves and workspace setups.
• Partner with the Administrative and Human Resources team to support meeting and event setup and breakdown (tables, food, trash, etc.).
• Follow and apply special sanitation and cleaning protocols as required.

Overview

We’re currently on the look out for a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant-1st shift to help keep our workplace running smoothly.

In this role you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including coordinating office services, monitoring supplies and equipment, and ensuring a safe and well maintained environment for employees and visitors.

Location: Poynette, WI (only 20 minutes from Sun Prairie)

Shift: M-F 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm (reliable and predictable shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal, and overall upkeep
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets (including deliming), and grout cleaning as needed
