Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in facilities management, building and equipment repair, construction, engineering, property management, or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, Life Safety, OSHA requirements, and HVAC/boiler, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Clean, valid driver’s license required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and building operations for campus and properties.
• Direct maintenance staff including schedules, training, overtime, and coverage.
• Inspect buildings and systems and prioritize repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with building, Life Safety, OSHA, and other regulations.
• Coordinate inspections with state and local officials.
• Manage contractors and vendors and procurement of services.
• Oversee department budget, invoices, and payments.
• Coordinate maintenance for vehicles and equipment.
• Recommend facility improvements and capital projects.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and dietary services.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safe environment.
