Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to ensure the safety and functionality of our properties and to lead the onsite Facilities team and any third-party vendors. This role demands strong problem solving, leadership, and follow-through in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You will supervise maintenance operations, manage life-safety systems, and coordinate preventive maintenance and capital projects across multi-unit residential properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit properties; 5 years supervisory experience.
• 5 years’ experience with building automation systems and life safety systems.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Boiler operator or Stationary Engineer certification/licence.
• Ability to read blueprints and safety manuals; strong multi-project management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage building services and preventive maintenance per SOPs and regulations.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, BAS, electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
• Lead facilities team and coordinate with vendors to meet Scion standards.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and safety/compliance programs.
• Review work orders, labor hours, materials costs and equipment reliability.
• Oversee Turn/lot readiness, inventory, and budget management.
• Coordinate safety procedures and emergency response; prepare written reports.
