Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Manager to ensure safety and functionality of the property’s buildings and equipment. You will lead the onsite Facilities team and coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance, and life safety systems, while prioritizing, scheduling, and budgeting across multiple properties. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or military training preferred.
• 8 years of property/building systems management experience in multi-unit residential properties; 5+ years in supervisory roles.
• 5 years experience with building automation and life safety systems.
• EPA 608 Universal certification and related HVAC certifications are preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and operating manuals; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building services and preventive maintenance per industry standards and SOPs.
• Manage daily operations: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and general maintenance.
• Supervise Facilities Technicians and manage service requests within Scion standards.
• administer facility budgets and vendor contracts; review completed work for quality.
• Ensure safety procedures, emergency readiness, and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate turnover, inspections of vacated units, and inventory of parts/tools.
