Job summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operation, maintenance, safety, and improvements across our Houston Galveston area facilities. You will supervise facilities personnel, manage work orders, and coordinate vendors to keep buildings safe, compliant, and functional.

The role requires leading maintenance teams, developing preventive plans, and coordinating after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Facilities or Construction Management or related field.
• 3 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, property management, or related field.
• 2+ years in leadership role overseeing maintenance, building services, or facilities personnel.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to travel regularly between agency locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, schedule, and develop Building Services and facilities personnel with clear work priorities and accountability.
• Maintain and oversee the agency’s work order system and ensure timely resolution of requests.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and facility issues across locations.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and related systems.
