Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, care and the efficient operation of all facilities, infrastructure and production equipment used by the organization.

You will inspect equipment, ensure readiness for regular operations and events, manage warranties and contracts, supervise maintenance staff and contractors, and collaborate on budgeting. Strong communication, teamwork and safety focus are essential; CNC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience managing the company’s facilities, equipment, and events.
• Experience with CNC machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain manufacturing equipment, infrastructure and facilities.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and events.
• Maintain warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
• Maintain the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
• Provide recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
• Collaborate with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to work with and as a Team.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.

Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all facilities, infrastructure and production equipment used by the organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
• For all on-site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
• Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned manufacturing equipment, infrastructure and facilities.
• Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
• Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of work experience.
