Job summary

Kith Sunset is seeking a Facility Manager to partner with the Head of Security and store leadership in Los Angeles, ensuring安全 of staff and customers while guiding security teams and vendors. This on-site role will also oversee crowd management and product release support, with a focus on operations, safety, and retail excellence across the LA market.

The role requires 4–5 years in security, with LP experience preferred, plus licenses. Travel within markets and weekend availability are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor entrance(s) of the store, while managing traffic in and out of the store.
  • Check employee coats and bags upon entry & exit.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of capable security personnel.
  • Handle undesired conduct, violations of building policy and civil laws as warranted for the security and safety of guests, employees, patrons, and property.
  • Observe the sales floor for potential theft and fraud.
  • Provide supervisory level support to Head of Security and/or General Manager, in overall management of both in-house and third-party security guards.
  • Manage any lines/crowds that form outside of the store.
  • Provide support to both guests and team members in any safety, crowd management or crisis response situations.
  • Ensure the store is compliant with any building/city/state or federal ordinance regarding crowds inside and outside of the store.
  • Travel within their assigned market(s), to provide physical support and guidance as business needs require.
  • Assist store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: LA Market Status: Full-time On site Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annually Position Summary: The Kith Facility Manager acts in partnership and under the guidance of the Head of Security, General Manager, or Kith HQ business partners on overall security responsibilities. The Facility Manager is imperative in the store’s overall operations, as they provide direction and guidance to the Security team(s) within their assigned market(s). The individual is professional, aware, and detail oriented, while remaining attentive to the business needs within their market(s). Ensuring the safety of store staff and customers through diligent monitoring of the sales floor and entrance(s). They will be responsible for hiring, training and developing Security personnel to ensure they meet all company standards. The Facility Manager will serve as the point of contact for any vendors or service providers which may include but are not limited to third-party agencies and repair & facilities service companies. They’ll continuously contribute to the seamless operations of the store by managing any lines that form outside the store and helping in the execution of any product releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Special Projects/Tasks:

  • Assist in the execution of any in-store or off-site activations, releases or events, by managing and monitoring crowds/lines and overall entry.
  • Follow the direction of Head of Security or General Manager in any emergency situations
  • Complete any assigned tasks during new store openings.
  • Act as the point of contact for any third-party agencies, repair or service providers, as assigned.
  • Provide support for any facilities matters within their assigned market(s).
REQUIREMENTS

Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require. Ability to regularly travel within their assigned market(s) during and outside of regular operating hours.

Licenses/Certificates: Valid State Security Guard License/Certificate, or Guard Card is required

Experience: 4-5 years as Security 2-3 years in Loss Prevention preferred but not required 1-3 years in a customer facing environment 1+ years in a Retail/Apparel environment
