Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations and guide workspace strategies to support staff and firm growth. You will collaborate with internal teams, building management, and vendors to ensure reliable service and effective programs.

With 10+ years in facilities operations and strong project/capital budgeting skills, you will drive data-driven improvements, manage multiple projects, and mentor other facilities professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in facilities related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years' experience managing facilities operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbally, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Real estate and development experience is a plus.
  • Facility management and A/E software capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and implement facility management programs.
  • Operate facility programs that address staff requests with efficient and reliable service.
  • Plan, direct, and oversee activities relating to office renovations, construction, expansions, and moves.
  • Manage facility-related partners including internal teams, vendors, and property managers.
  • Leverage data and feedback to drive solutions for changing workplace priorities.
  • Research trends and implement changes that support business goals and workplace needs.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor other facilities professionals to support program growth.
  • Occasional travel to regional offices is expected.
  • Assist in real estate assessments and transactions and support general real estate needs.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by Facilities Director.

Job Summary

The Facilities Manager at Fishbeck oversees facilities operations and builds upon the mission of developing and maintaining workspaces to engage staff and promote firm success. As an integral leader in the organization, this person will collaborate with Fishbeck staff, building management, and outside vendors to support daily operations and prepare for future growth and changing business needs. Fishbeck is a professional consulting services firm with 21 offices in 3 states, so collaboration and communication are critical to success in this role.

Primary Functions
  • Develop, document, and implement facility management programs.
  • Operate facility programs that address staff requests with efficient and reliable service.
  • Plan, direct, and oversee activities relating to office renovations, construction, expansions, and moves.
  • Manage facility-related partners including internal teams, vendors, and property managers.

Minimum Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally exposed to light to medium lifting, sitting, and walking.
  • Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer and phone.
  • Travel by vehicle to regional offices.
