Hyatt's Corporate Facilities Management Training Program offers a 15-month rotational schedule designed to prepare participants for Assistant Director and Director of Facility Management roles within a hotel environment.

The first phase emphasizes exposure to front-of-house maintenance and service functions, with a six-week rotation across hotel divisions to align with Hyatt's service culture and product standards. Strong emphasis on safety and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree required, GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Nine months of relative industry work experience required.
• Leadership and involvement in campus activities.
• Positive references from two previous work experiences.
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Repairing or replacing defective equipment or parts.
• Performing preventive maintenance measures.
• Inspection, operation and recording of maintenance work and costs.
• Ordering materials and tools within budgetary guidelines.
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper functioning of the area and equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of facility, landscaping and hotel rooms (plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Establishing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Ensuring safety of the department and building.
