Crossroads Church in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Building Operations Team Member to maintain our sites, manage building and equipment emergencies, and ensure facilities are ready for worship, events, and community programs.

The role requires a High School diploma, 3+ years in maintenance, strong project management, and the ability to lead volunteers and coordinate with staff. Travel between sites is expected; schedule flexibility is essential.

Formación

• General residential/commercial maintenance knowledge is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience performing general maintenance or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent project management skills are required.
• Able to work with a minimum of supervision while coordinating with staff and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Ability to lead volunteers and volunteer teams in project execution.

Responsabilidades

• Performing maintenance and repair activities for building and equipment.
• Skilled preventive maintenance in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting.
• Conduct regular building inspections and prepare work orders.
• Respond to inquiries by building tenants and resolve issues timely.
• Monitor building schedules and support events hosted on Crossroads property.
• Guide cleaning contractors and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
• Manage and maintain event support properties (chairs, tables, etc.).
• Protect confidential information and uphold organizational values.
• Collaborate with staff to sustain a strong team and support the church's mission.
• Attend meetings and participate in additional meetings as requested.
