Job summary

Crossroads Church, Inc. is seeking a Building Operations Team Member to maintain multiple sites and oversee building and equipment maintenance. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, ability to lead volunteers, and strong organizational and communication skills to support facility operations.

The position involves regular inspections, coordinating with staff and tenants, and assisting with events across Crossroads properties.

Qualifications

• General residential/commercial maintenance knowledge is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience performing general maintenance or in a similar role.
• Excellent project management skills are required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with staff and other organizations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead volunteers and volunteer teams in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair activities for building and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting.
• Conduct regular building inspections and prepare work orders.
• Respond to inquiries from building tenants and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor building schedule and support events hosted on Crossroads property.
• Guide cleaning contractors and ensure adherence to Crossroads standards.
• Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
• Manage and maintain event support properties (chairs, tables, etc.).
• Protect confidentiality of all entities’ information.
• Collaborate with staff to support Crossroads' vision and mission.
