Job summary

Crossroads Church in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Building Operations Team Member to maintain our sites and respond to building and equipment emergencies. You will perform preventive maintenance across carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting, and coordinate work with staff and volunteers.

This full-time role requires at least 3 years of maintenance experience, strong project management, and the ability to lead volunteers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
General residential/commercial maintenance knowledge is essential.
At least 3 years of experience performing general maintenance or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent project management skills are required.
Ability to lead volunteers and volunteer teams in the execution of projects.
Strong organizational, communication, and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance and repair activities for building and equipment.
Perform skilled preventive maintenance in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting.
Conduct regular building inspections and prepare work orders.
Respond to inquiries from tenants and resolve problems timely.
Assist with schedule monitoring and event support for non-staff tenants.
Coordinate cleaning contractor services and maintain standards.
Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
Protect information confidentiality and work with staff to support mission.
