Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Knowledge of safety practices related to facilities work.
Good written and oral communication and basic math skills.
Ability to manage a schedule while performing duties.
Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Complete minor repairs and upgrades in buildings and daycares.
Attend emergencies as needed.
Travel to daycares for deliveries, maintenance, and repairs weekly.
Seasonal cleaning and maintenance of interiors and exteriors.
Maintain outdoor areas including lawns, beds, playgrounds, and parking lots.
Move office and classroom furniture to support staffing changes.
Perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks such as changing filters and unclogging toilets.
Adhere to OSHA and DHA safety rules and guidelines; collect supplies as needed.
Other duties as requested.
