Job summary

GUIDANCE CARE CENTER INC in Marathon, FL is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support safety and operational integrity of GCC properties, buildings and vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests, performing regular inspections to meet health and safety standards, keeping facilities sound, assisting with cable and electrical work, and participating in trainings while upholding WestCare mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in maintenance, construction, or related field.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent issued by a state department of education is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair requests daily as requested by staff.
• Ensure through regular inspections that health and safety standards are met.
• Maintain facilities to be operationally and structurally sound.
• Assist with running and maintaining electrical connections and cables.
• Participate in trainings as required and requested.
• Support the mission and goals of GUIDANCE CARE CENTER INC and WestCare Foundation.
