Job summary

WestCare Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Marathon, FL 33050 to support safety and operational integrity of facilities, buildings, and vehicle fleet.

The role covers maintenance requests, inspections, and grounds upkeep in a healthcare-oriented setting. The ideal candidate has at least three years in maintenance, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a solid knowledge of tools and materials for repair and upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years in maintenance, construction, or related field.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment, materials, and tools for maintenance and repair.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair requests daily as requested by staff.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Ensure facilities are operational and structurally sound.
• Maintain facility grounds per schedule to look attractive and welcoming.
• Assist with running and maintaining cables, wires, and electrical connections.
• Attend trainings and participate in meetings as required.
• Adhere to WestCare Foundation requirements and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
