Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for our Focused Care at Hogan Park facility in Midland, TX. The role ensures quality maintenance in compliance with Life Care standards and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate has basic maintenance experience, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and an understanding of local building codes. A valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must have a valid driver's license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including general maintenance responsibilities, patient rights, and safety and sanitation.
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
