Job summary

Walmart Sylacauga is seeking General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on store equipment. You will develop preventive maintenance schedules and complete PMs within timelines, while training store staff on care and cleaning of equipment.

Responsibilities include executing minor repairs, managing work orders, and maintaining thorough maintenance logs to support store operations. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance in facilities or related trades.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with clean record; able to pass MVR.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules with written/electronic records.

Skills

3 years maintenance experience
