Job summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians in East Ellijay, GA. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on store equipment, develop PM schedules, and train associates on care and cleaning of equipment to keep our Walmart stores running smoothly.

Responsibilities include minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment), routine maintenance for safety and function, and managing work orders with documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, etc.).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules with required written and electronic information (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, logs).
