Job summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians to diagnose, repair and perform preventative maintenance for all store equipment in Walmart stores. You will develop PM schedules and complete PMs on time, and train Store Associates on care and cleaning.

Minimum qualifications include 3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license for 3+ years with a clean MVR, and CDL eligibility. The role is full-time at Fort Scott, KS.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for store equipment.
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules; provide required documentation (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, logs).
