Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to support the maintenance department. You will perform plant cleaning, painting, equipment operation, and assist with loading/unloading deliveries at our Simpsonville location.

The role offers on-the-job training, a standard Monday–Friday week with occasional night/overtime, and benefits including 401K with company match and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to operate powered industrial equipment and tools.
• Needs reading comprehension of procedures in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize equipment to perform plant cleaning operations (floor scrubbers, lint and dust removal, outside rubbish removal).
• Perform painting tasks around the plant and facilities grounds.
• Operate forklifts/lifts to relocate materials within the facility.
