Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to help maintain the facility and equipment. You will perform plant cleaning, light maintenance, and painting, and assist with loading/unloading deliveries. On-the-job training is provided, with overtime potential and a strong benefits package.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, ability to operate forklifts and floor scrubbers, and a willingness to work 1st shift with full-time hours. 18+ with a valid license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and operate basic power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, lint/dust removal devices, trench screen cleaning).
• Paint tasks throughout plant and exterior facility grounds.
• Move materials using powered industrial equipment and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Support production receiving activities and housekeeping/maintenance duties.
• Perform landscaping, snow removal, and related upkeep as needed.
• Complete duties after training, including vehicle operation when certified.
• Assist with other facility/maintenance tasks as assigned.
