Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to join our team. As a Team Partner in Maintenance, you will help maintain the location building and equipment, perform cleaning, painting, and light maintenance, and assist with loading/unloading deliveries.

We offer on-the-job training, a Monday–Friday work week with occasional night and weekend overtime, and competitive hourly pay with benefits including 401K match, health insurance, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to operate powered industrial equipment and tools.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures in English.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for plant cleaning, including floor scrubbers and debris removal.
• Paint tasks throughout plant or grounds.
• Operate forklifts/lifts to relocate materials.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks.
• Assist with production receiving activities.
• Perform facilities upkeep such as landscaping and snow removal.
• Conduct light equipment maintenance and routine cleaning after training.
• May operate company vehicles after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
