Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Outlook, is required.
• Experience with facilities management software is preferred.
• OSHA training or certification is strongly preferred.
• Valid, clean New York State Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for occupancy, including hanging sheet rock, spackle, painting and routine maintenance.
• Perform electrical and structural repairs or installations.
• Perform mid-level plumbing duties: snake lines, remove and install toilets, and repair leaking pipes.
• Conduct regular safety checks internally and externally throughout the building.
• Maintain interior of the property with routine maintenance tasks.
• Notify Property Manager of repairs or replacements.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties and maintenance of exterior grounds.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
