Job summary

American Medical Administrators MGMT Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facility upkeep, from painting and carpentry to basic plumbing and electrical tasks.

You will respond to work orders, perform inspections, assist with safety compliance, and help with seasonal duties. High school diploma and basic maintenance knowledge preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance/facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license preferred depending on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.
