Job summary

The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation and upkeep of our facilities. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to emergencies to keep staff, clients, and visitors safe.

You will service mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, coordinate with outside vendors, maintain maintenance records, and follow health, safety and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and structural integrity.
