Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service occupied and vacant properties in Michigan. The role requires coordinating with residents, vendors, and coworkers while handling repairs and routine maintenance.

The position covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, painting, and grounds upkeep, with after-hours on-call duties and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents
• Be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Identify and report to management issues involving the employees, property or residents
• Turn vacant apartments to make them ready for leasing
• Repair or replace window glass and screens
• Carpentry tasks including drywall, doors, trim molding, cabinets, countertops, tile work
• Basic electrical work and lighting installations
• Basic appliance repairs and plumbing work
• HVAC repairs and EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred
• General grounds maintenance and preventative maintenance
• Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
• Perform after-hours on-call services and overtime when needed
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders
