Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a wide range of repair, maintenance and ground duties across two nearby properties in Michigan. The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and boiler/HVAC basics.

You will collaborate with staff and residents, ensure safety, and prepare vacant units for leasing. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, preserving common areas, and supporting supervisors across two

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel between and work at both a home site and a sister community.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Must be able to take on call emergencies that are shared with team maintenance techs.
• Must be able to split week between two sites that are within 5 miles of each other.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents
• Lead by example with positive attitude and teamwork
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Prioritize tasks and stay organized
• Identify issues and report to management
• Complete service requests in occupied apartments on time
• Maintain common areas and turn vacant units for leasing
• Repair/replace window glass and screens, paint as needed
• Perform carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs
• Maintain exterior and common area lighting and safety
• Handle snow removal and general grounds duties
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergencies on-call
• Travel between sites as required
• Overtime may be required
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders
• Pool experience preferred
