Job summary

SupportWorks Housing in Richmond, VA is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to maintain building systems, complete work orders, and perform thorough inspections to keep facilities safe and well‑functioning for residents.

Candidates should have at least one year of building/grounds maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Virginia driver's license, basic maintenance tools, and reliable transportation; the role includes on‑call rotation and a comprehensive

Basic maintenance tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders and walk-through inspections.
Ensure buildings and systems operate properly.
Perform electrical repairs (outlets, switches, fixtures, circuits).
Perform plumbing work (clogs, fittings, leaks).
Repair or replace glass, tile, cove base, fixtures, blinds, locks, doorknobs, hinges.
Paint interiors and perform carpentry tasks.
Review supply and equipment inventory and place orders.
Complete unit turnovers and conduct quarterly inspections.
