Job summary

Government Contracting Resources, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair building systems and facilities at Fort Meade.

The role requires practical knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and door hardware, with the ability to report conditions needing specialized trades. You will respond to service requests, document work orders in CMMS, and ensure safety procedures are followed while keeping facilities

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of recent facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance work orders.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on building systems.
• Inspects and maintains HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Uses CMMS to document labor and materials.
• Coordinates with supervision and other trades as needed.
