Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and overall functionality. The role covers work orders, preventative maintenance, make-ready activities and on-site tasks across common areas and grounds.

The technician will document activities, track inventory, and coordinate with contractors as needed. A valid driver’s license, EPA refrigerant certifications, and site-safety training are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required State and Local certifications per jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety, cleanliness and functionality standards.
• Proactively completes make-ready tasks for vacant units including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Tracks inventory, uses tools and materials efficiently, and reports re-orders to the maintenance supervisor.
• Documents service requests and maintenance activity accurately for record keeping and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting and basic maintenance as needed.
• Assists in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
