As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our centers, creating inviting environments for children and families. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and community impact.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, lighting, and carpentry, including minor plumbing repairs.
• Conduct safety and security inspections of playgrounds and property.
• Assist with inspections of renovations and new constructions, identifying potential capital projects.
• Collaborate with center staff to promote maintenance best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex repairs and monitor their performance.
• Manage work orders, materials, and updates via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Qualifications:

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, playgrounds, roofing, in a multi-unit environment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment, with knowledge of preventive maintenance.
• Qualified to operate a company vehicle, subject to a motor vehicle record check.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical documents, and construction plans.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with teams.
• Proficient with electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
