Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a General Maintenance I to perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks to keep facilities running smoothly. The role includes snow removal, grounds maintenance, and assisting with renovations across a large campus.

Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with on-call rotation. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 3 years of skilled labor, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years - Skilled labor (Required).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Repairs a variety of mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and general building components.
• Performs general carpentry in support of alterations and renovations.
• Installs drywall, floor and ceiling systems and prepares surfaces.
• Operates equipment for snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Communicates and collaborates with maintenance team to ensure safety and efficiency.
