Job summary

ISS Guckenheimer is seeking an Engineer I to maintain and repair building systems in a full-time role. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, and document work in the CMMS under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience, with basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety procedures. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and mechanical equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals; ability to use tools safely.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Troubleshoot basic building equipment and system issues.
Complete general building repairs including lighting, doors, ceilings, and floors.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders in CMMS.
