EMCOR Facilities Services in Middle River, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a range of facility needs on site. You will report to the Site Supervisor and perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep equipment and spaces safe and functional.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience, HS Diploma, and a valid US driver’s license. Strong customer service is essential. Overtime or winter outdoor work may be required.

EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Middle River, MD. The Technician will report daily to the EMCOR Site Supervisor and support him/her to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities of this position is to be responsible for the general facility maintenance needs at the facility and performing general maintenance and inspections of equipment/systems as required. Knowledge of and capable of performing basic carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical & HVAC repairs and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required. Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift. Have the ability to move in a 90‑degree fashion on a repetitive basis. Have the ability to work and maneuver on a variety of terrains. Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. May be required to work in confined, restricted and hot areas. We are also responsible for snow removal and there are times in the Winter season when most of the day is spent outdoors in cold/snow conditions. Must be willing to work overtime when required. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends when scheduled.
