Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking a Maintenance Worker in Bronx, NY, for regular full-time employment. The role covers heating/AC support, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general facility maintenance under the Facility Manager.

A Boiler Operator Certificate and 3–5 years of experience are required, with bilingual Spanish a plus. The position emphasizes safe operations, accurate record-keeping, and timely communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs Maintenance Worker experience required.
• Current Boiler Operator Certificate.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Highly organized self-starter with strong time management.
• Bilingual – Spanish speaking a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant and facility in a safe and secure manner.
• Coordinate repairs and emergency contingency plans during outages.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair physical plant problems as assigned.
• Maintain an inventory logs for departmental tools and usage.
• Ensure proper disposal of garbage, trash and hazardous materials.
• Perform a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
• Keep a clean, professional appearance and wear prescribed uniform.
• Accurately complete job logs and work orders.
