Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a 4-year HVAC/appliance repair apprenticeship recognized by relevant labor departments.
• 3 years journey-level experience in installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC/heating systems and related electrical controls.
• 2 years journey-level experience plus additional credential or training listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, inspect, test, alter and repair heating and air conditioning systems in buildings and structures.
• Work on air conditioning components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors and electrical and electronic controls and valves.
• Work on boilers and furnaces, including boiler sections, heaters, radiators, piping and pumps; keep records and write reports.
