Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Maintenance Specialist for the RTP, NC site to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment. Responsibilities include calibrations, equipment testing, line support, and documenting actions to ensure reliable operations.

The role requires a high school diploma (HVAC certification preferred) and 5+ years in HVAC or facilities maintenance; must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience is preferred with 5+ years.
• Knowledge of BAS and CMMS systems is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Support lab equipment maintenance, testing, calibration, and preventive plans.
• Perform grounds keeping tasks and corridor lighting tests as needed.
• Document maintenance actions, calibrations, and equipment files.
• Communicate status of maintenance needs with lab team and plan calibrations.
• Travel within the region and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• On-call responsibilities and adherence to safety practices.
