Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for RTP, NC to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in a high‑quality facility. You will support laboratory equipment, assist with groundskeeping, and ensure environmental data, calibration, and documentation are up to date.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC trade school certification preferred.
• 5+ years HVAC experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BAS and CMMS systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on facilities systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Maintain furniture, lighting, and small equipment; assist with groundskeeping as needed.
• Repair and test general lab equipment; document maintenance activities and calibrations.
• Record environmental readings and replace humidity/temperature charts.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance activities; create maintenance plans for new equipment.
