Job summary

Simon Property Group seeks a maintenance technician at Gloucester Premium Outlets to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems of the center.

The role requires 2-3 years of building maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, ability to read plans, and a commitment to safety, including OSHA guidelines. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work days/evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School certifications or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects facility, troubleshoots and makes repairs to mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, and structural elements.
• Perform maintenance/minor repairs on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, lighting, plumbing and sidewalks.
• Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and maintain cleanliness of property.
• Assist Marketing and Local Leasing with event setup and cart placement/repair.
• Follow OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
• Maintain inventory records, MSDS, supplies and tools.
• Inspect air handling units, belts, filters, and grease components; maintain logs.
• Perform exterior custodial duties as needed and handle general maintenance tasks.
