Job summary

Headway Technologies is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Milpitas, CA. Under the Facilities Supervisor, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance to sustain plant operations.

This full-time role requires hands-on HVAC experience, ability to read schematics, and use of office software for documentation. Expect a 6:00am–6:00pm A shift, with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years experience in facilities, construction, plumbing, or similar technician role.
• Industrial or Electrical Controls Systems Certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance inside or outside the facility.
• Maintains HVAC units, including packaging units, chillers, and cooling towers; minor automation control repairs.
• Reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or plumbing schematics.
• Enters and tracks work orders using in-house software to maintain service standards.
• Uses power tools and calibration equipment to repair equipment and machinery.
• Oversees contracted maintenance and roof/life-safety services.
• Responds to facilities-related requests from staff and departments.
